Studio b. Gallery Director Pam Durkin is not only the face of Studio b. but also a performer of 30 years, professional chef and self-taught artist. Pam is a native Chicagoan and in 2000 acquired a home on the other side of Lake Michigan. She is a sister, aunt, mother and grandmother, and is continually inspired by family and friends to pursue her passion for the arts.
Pam creates one of a kind jewelry, scarves, purses, children’s bibs and aprons, decorative pillows, correspondence cards and nature-inspired paintings. Her work includes unique crocheted sterling cuff bracelets adorned with vintage beads, scarves crafted with recycled men’s neckties and purses embellished with ties, chenille pillows, baby bibs and aprons made from
vintage oilcloth, botanical greeting cards that incorporate hand-pressed flowers and leaves
to be mailed or framed as art, and creative paintings on window panes that
offer a taste of the local color of the area.
Pam is exclusively represented by Studio b. Gallery.
